Note that Open Source is not just a matter for "techies". It is a matter of strategic, economic and political interest to all nonprofit and for-profit organizations; anyone who has a website; and ethical computer users in general. For those who are technically inclined and are seeking ethical, meaningful work, there is plenty of opportunity. But there is also opportunity for managers, writers, promoters, activists, business people, students... - Peter Blanchard http://www.planetfriendly.net/directory.html#internet http://www.planetfriendly.net/opensource.html http://www.flora.org http://weblog.flora.org/search.php3?topic_id=53 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE OPEN SOURCE WEEKEND Ottawa, Canada, Jan 25-26, 2003 http://www.osw.ca ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On 2003 January 25 and 26, a coalition of computer professionals, students, and volunteers will host an Open Source Weekend in Ottawa, Canada.
